Tommy's community kitchen is not a food bank, as part of our work experience programme our students and volunteers cook a range of culturally diverse nutritious ready meals for those that need them in our community.

We provide two main meals and two desserts per adult and child per household to cover you over the weekend when food banks are closed. Our service is NOT means tested and you don't need a referral or voucher to receive a meal from us.

You will need to fill out our basic registration form when you first use our meal service this is completely confidential and helps us collect data and show there's a need in our community for what we are trying to do.   

If you need to use our meal service please email info@tommyscommunitykitchen.org stating how many adults and children are in your household, we will then arrange a mutually convenient time for you to collect your meals.

Our meals are all plant based and typically consist of Stews, Curries, Cottage Pie, Pie and Mash etc and a Roast Dinner for Sundays
