Funded Work Experience Programme - Introduction to Catering & Hospitality for 16 to 25 year olds

 Working with local colleges Our work experience programme aims to teach basic catering skills, food safety and hygiene qualifications to Neurodivergent young people young people whom are home schooled and young people with other barriers to work enabling them to have better job prospects in the future. 

Students will learn about food safety and hygiene in the Commercial Kitchen, recipe and menu development, basic cookery skills, customer service skills and an introduction to barista skills. 

 

 

 

August School Holiday Program - Introduction to Catering - August 2026

Our school holiday introduction to catering program runs over 5 sessions during August. Suitable for ages 14 and up

Dates: Mondays 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st years

Duration: 4 hours

Training Times: 9:30 -1:30pm 

Lunch Included 1:30 – 2:30pm - Students are welcome to stay for lunch for no extra cost  

Total Cost £125 (£25 Per Session)

Pay in Full or by Weekly Instalment Plan throughout July (£25 Week) which must be paid in full before the start of the course

Instalment payment dates: Friday 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th 31st

We will be inviting some of our regular customers to enjoy lunch that the students have made
