An introductory class to explore this amazing, tasty, healthy and protein-rich plant based ingredient.
Clare McIvor is a local, qualified and experienced vegan Chef of 20 years with employment in several areas of the food service industry, as well as having run her own restaurant and vegan food business for many years.
Clare will introduce the class by explaining why tofu is a super food and the many ways it can be used in culturally diverse meals and how it can replace more traditional ingredients in Western cuisine.
We shall then watch and participate in making three useful and varied dishes where tofu, in its different forms, can be utilised in both savoury and sweet dishes.
Everyone will be able to join in with both cooking and eating and will have food and recipes to take home.
All Ingredients are provided. Please bring a box to take food home and an APRON
